Greentree's "Above & Beyond" - What it means to me and my door

Ability to cut your door to the Rough Opening (R.O.) Whether your house is new or 100 years old, your new door will fit.   Factory finishing Halogen oven cures the finish just like the paint on your car (no, it will not look like your car due to different materials, and the fact automotive paint is $400 per gallon).
Veneered Solid Wood Doors Because it's real . . . wood, the chances of a wood door cracking are very good, so our doors have 2 wood veneers around a wood core (stave core) which means if your door does crack, the crack will not go all the way through.   All six (6) sides of the doors are finished. Wood does not like water and will find its way behind your hinges and handleset and will most definitely hit the top of the door, right? It's just a good idea.
Multi-Point Locks Recommended for all 8 foot doors to help prevent door warping, but also adds another layer of security and peace of mind.   Water-based Paint & Stains Offers lower Volatile Organic Compounds. VOCs - the stuff that smells and can make you sick.
Ball-bearing Oil Rubbed Bronze hinges Most of our competitors will upcharge you for the elegance of these hinges, but they are standard on our doors. They give a fluid motion to the operation of your door.   We seal all the wood panels on our pre-finished wood doors. Floating panels are supposed to expand & contract with the weather. We seal the panels with elastomeric (elastic & flexible) caulking to keep Mother Nature out.
Industry standard glass sizes If you ever get tired of the glass design in your door, you can get a new design of the same size.   Pre-Stain condition our wood doors We apply a pre-stain conditioner to our wood doors to prevent grain from raising. Helps your door look and feel smooth to the touch.
Ultimate Astragal No step stool required to reach flush bolts at the top of your 8 foot door. The latch and bolt plates are adjustable too.   Hand sanding A craftsman will hand sand your door vs a machine so that he can feel and fix any roughness or imperfections before the door is stained or painted.
Bumper Sill on all wood double doors. Adds extra protection from the elements by providing a continuous seal along the bottom of the doors.
